Collection: TRANSMISSION Series

I have always valued the work of art as an emotional experience. The idea behind the TRANSMISSION series is to present sleek and minimalist works that provoke various emotional responses. The colors are chosen sparingly, there are smooth color gradients and fluid curves; all in a bold design look. The aesthetics must be predominant. The works are all in finesse with a luminous brightness that comes from behind. There is an echo in the forms embedded in subtle delicacy.

But behind the contemplative aspect of the works, there is an association with a neurotransmitter (chemical messenger in the brain). Neurotransmitters affect our state of mind. Through visual art, I wanted to suggest the effect of their activities or a representation that we know of this activity. Some works even suggest the chemical structure of a neurotransmitter. In the design, I joined two oppositions. The first is the opposition of the minimalism of the work from its title named after complex molecules. The second is the opposition of large format works and the microscopic appearance of a neurotransmitter.
